Maryland Packaging Regulations - Comments due March 9th!
Maryland’s first packaging producer responsibility regulations are open for public comment now! Trash Free Maryland is working with our coalition of environmental organizations to ensure that Maryland’s new extended producer responsibility for packaging program regulations and guidance support the legislature’s intent that the program minimize environmental and human health harms from packaging and reduce packaging - especially plastic packaging - at the source.

Celebrating Black History does not End at the End of this Month!
There is a lots of ways to continue to celebrate Black History in Maryland even after Black History Month! We must continue to educate ourselves on the systemic racism that is apparent and pervasive in the trash and litter world, and continue to work toward environmental justice for all.
