Join the Trash Free Maryland Board of Directors

We are currently accepting applications to join our Board of Directors. We will review all applications received by November 2, 2026, in this round.

Who we’re looking for:

We are especially interested in connecting with prospective board members interested in taking an active role on the board and with a passion for our mission to eliminate trash in Maryland. These are some of the skills we’re currently most interested in:

• Event planning

• Fundraising & development

• Non-Profit management and governance

• Leadership roles

• Communications & outreach

Board members serve 3-year terms, with the option to renew for 2 terms.

After that date, you may still submit an application to express your interest, but applications will only be reviewed as openings become available on the board. Applicants may be invited to participate in an interview as the next step in the process.
